1. EAAs are extremely important for Muscle Growth and Development:
Most of the 22 amino acids (Non Essential) can be created by the body as needed, however, the nine EAA’s must come from food – they cannot be manufactured by the body. Researchers in a recent independent study discovered a corresponding increase in muscle growth when they increased blood EAA levels: blood EAA level increase from 1.3 (mmol/l) to 2.6 (mmol/l), doubled the rate of protein synthesis, thereby significantly increasing muscle growth and recovery rate.

2. EAAs prevent muscle breakdown occurring during and post-exercise:
Muscle breakdown is a part of the process of training to excel. The catabolic process starts as soon as training begins and continues to damage muscles for several hours after exercise. Studies have shown that the abundant presence of EAAs in the blood stream, in the right proportions, not only prevent and reduce the breakdown of muscles, but also help with recovery and muscle growth. Regular use of RAP should maintain a good supply of EAAs in the blood stream to enable the anabolic process.

3. RECOVER – Amino Power and caloric efficiency:
Caloric Efficiency is defined as the ratio of muscle protein synthesis to calories consumed. A calorically efficient product helps in gaining more muscle than fat. In our study we compared 6 capsules of RAP to same amount of a product which contained a mixed Essential and Non Essential amino acid blend and found that RAP stimulated twice the muscle growth.

In another study, a group of subjects were given 12 capsules of RAP, while a second group received 12 capsules of RAP along with the same amount of Non Essential Amino Acids, which is similar to the amount of protein from a good protein shake. While calories were more than double in the second group, the amount of protein synthesis was identical for both groups. Which means that the non-essential amino acids do not contribute to enhance muscle growth, they are simply extra calories. Only the essential amino acids cause muscle growth.
